Uslter (UTL)

I had never been in here before today, but I needed to go to the bathroom, so I decided to stop in here. The bathrooms were SO NICE! The building seems newly refurbished. It was so refreshing to find a modern, state of the art facility. Ustler currently houses the Women's Studies program. It is between the Moe's/Chili's/gym and the pool/stadium. Here's the picture and what UF has to say about the building.
"The 87-year-old facility has been transformed into a state-of-the-art, three-level academic structure. Built in 1919, the building fell into disuse in 1979 but was saved from demolition in 1988 when it was granted protection under the National Register of Historic Places. It was transformed into a 14,700 square-foot academic treasure. The restoration process began in 2004, and Women’s Studies moved into the facility in July 2006."
If you are at Moe's and need to go to the bathroom, I highly recommend walking the extra 50 feet to Ustler. Also, it smells like "fresh". Go take a whiff! Here's a pic of the first look in the door. Can't capture the smell, but I wish I could!

The Beginning

Hello, all. I have decided to start this blog to detail different things around the UF campus that everyone should check out as well as important information on just things in general at UF.
I will be randomly posting things as they present themselves to me, and I'll try to get to at least every class building this year.
If you have any suggestions for topics, let me know!
